ABOUT ASHLEY

A true Northern Colorado native, Ashley began working in Wellington at the Kinzli RE/MAX Alliance office. Ashley fell in love with the community’s small town, all-American feel and decided this was where she wanted to raise her two children. In 2014, Ashley was elected as a Wellington Trustee.

During her time as Trustee, Ashley worked with community members to bring a new high school to Wellington (currently under construction), organized a community-build of the Wellington Community Park, saving the Town approximately $30,000.00, lobbied for both continued support of the Wellington Middle School’s Eagles After Hours program and creation of the Wellington Main Streets Program (WMSP), and served as a founding member of the Parks Advisory Board, Wellington Planning Commission, and the Wellington Community Activities Committee.

Ashley is deeply invested in this community and takes great pride in serving the people. When she is not working for Wellington Fire Protection District as the Government Affairs and District Management Director, Ashley can be found coaching youth sports, and volunteering her time as a face painter at Wellington community events.

In her return as a Trustee, Ashley will be a true community voice. Through accountable decision-making, advocating strategic growth, addressing essential community infrastructure needs, and supporting and expanding both youth and seniors’ programs, Ashley will holistically prioritize current and future needs.  Additionally, Ashley passionately believes that small business is the foundation that has built this community. Continuing to listen and support the small business community IS our future.
